Treble choir
Tampereen Yliopiston Laulajien taiteellinen johtaja Emmi Saulamaa aloittaa yhdessä Tampereen Yliopiston Laulajien kanssa syksyllä 2024 diskanttikuoroprojektin. Diskanttikuoron luomisen on tarkoitus tarjota entistä useammalle kuorolaulusta kiinnostuneelle mahdollisuus harrastaa musiikkia. Kuoro tulee olemaan Tampereen Yliopiston Laulajista erillinen, oma kuoronsa, joskin kuoron konsertit on aluksi tarkoitus järjestää yhteistyössä Tampereen Yliopiston Laulajien kanssa. Diskanttikuoroon ovat tervetulleita hakemaan kaikki sopraanoa tai alttoa laulavat, stemmalaulusta kiinnostuneet opiskelijat, valmistuneet sekä työssäkäyvät!
Diskanttikuoro harjoittelee maanantaisin klo.18-21 välisenä aikana Tampereen Yliopiston keskustakampuksen tiloissa. Kuoron muut käytänteet tarkentuvat syksyn 2024 aikana, kun uudet laulajat ovat päässeet mukaan.

Haku syksyllä 2024 alkaviin diskanttikuorotreeneihin on nyt auki! Koelaulut järjestetään 30. päivä syyskuuta Tampereen yliopiston keskustakampuksen tiloissa. Koelauluun kuuluu yksinkertaisia äänialaa ja tasoa testaavia tehtäviä sekä yksi omavalintainen laulu ilman säestystä. Laulun tyyli ja kieli ovat vapaat, mutta kannattaa valita kappale, jonka voi laulaa helposti ilman säestystä.

Emmi Saulamaa, the artistic director of Tampere University Singers, together with Tampere University Singers, will start a treble choir project in the fall of 2024. The creation of the treble choir aims to provide an opportunity for even more people interested in choral singing to engage in music. The choir will be a separate entity from Tampere University Singers, though its concerts are initially planned to be held in collaboration with Tampere University Singers. All students, graduates, and working individuals who sing soprano or alto and are interested in part-singing are welcome to apply to the treble choir!
The treble choir rehearses on Mondays from 6-9PM in the facilities of Tampere University's central campus. The choir's other practices will be clarified during the fall of 2024, once the new singers have joined.

Apply for the treble choir!
Applications for the treble choir rehearsals starting in the fall of 2024 are now open! Auditions will be held on September 30th on the Tampere University central campus. The audition will include simple tasks to test vocal range and skill level, as well as one self-chosen, unaccompanied song. The style and language of the song are free to choose, but it's advisable to select a piece that can be easily sung without accompaniment.
